OBM Ocean Bottom Magnetometer systems

A peculiarity of Agisco consists in offering the Customer "tailored" services that go beyond any standard. In addition to monitoring the classic large civil works, Agisco is engaged in atypical projects that involve very special and different measurements and controls, with patented systems.

The subsidence control campaign at great depths (> 350 m) in gas extraction areas along the Adriatic coast, from Ravenna to Falconara, is significant. This campaign, requested by ENI, began over thirty years ago with the installation of special deep control systems designed and patented by Agisco which, since then, has been collecting and processing the measurements continuously.

Worthy of interest is the recent "turnkey" construction - which includes the installation, maintenance and specialist technical assistance - of n. 3 OBM (Ocean Bottom Magnetometer) systems, commissioned by INGV (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology) for the study of terrestrial magnetism at great depths (submerged to roughly 4000m below sea level).
